This is my brochure for e-Communications. I think it turned out just fine. I had some problems with what icons to use to represent the different strands, but I think I solved that problem really well. Graphic design is a paint splatter, since they do more with design and art elements. Web design is "www." since they deal with the world wide web. Video production is a film strip for obvious reasons. Animation is a vector of a wooden mannequin since they do a lot with character design.

My Logo
Above are my two top pics for logos that I have created. The top one is a design I have been using since I was a small child. It is my initials, EWE, with the second E being backwards, making it symmetrical. It's special to me in that I will probably use it for the rest of my life. The bottom is a wine-colored circle with a W in it, standing for Wine, which is my middle name. I added the splatter marks because that is my favorite symbol. I'm not sure which one I like better, so I have to make that decision.

Kerning Game
My Graphic Design class was learning about type when we had to play this game. However, the more I progressed, the worse my score became. But, that's ok. I'm pretty proud of this one. :3

eMagine
I didn't go to eMagine, so I don't have any first hand experience.
However, I will say that, though I have my things that I say, I enjoy being in e-comm. I have a ton if friends and I learn a lot in my classes.
I know I'm not going into graphic design, but I have learned my fair share of real world problems and their solutions.
Taaaa daaaaa

The Infamous Google Logo
Google. Everyone knows this word. It's a noun and verb. The search engine to end all search engines. But people seem to forget that it also a logo.
There is a picture going around on the internet of a boac and white Google logo with the caption "You see this everyday, but I bet you couldn't put the colors in the right order". Which is true. Not even I could do it. Google is very under appreciated for how much it is used per day.
Google also gives tribute to holidays big and small, within a state or international. I have a ton for respect for Google for going out of their way to do that.
The was the Google Doodle giving a nod to the Holi Festival.

The Seven Year Itch
For this assignment, my graphic design class had to create posters for movies before the 1970's.
I did The Seven Year Itch.
I really like how my poster turned out. Though not the right size, I'm proud of it. My colors pop really well.

This is a poster by Saul Bass. I like his work and his creativity. I can't think of anyone else who thinks so outside the box.

10 Things I Value
These are the ten things I value most. :3
1) Music
2) Warheads Candy
3) Horror Movies
4) Internet
5) Sweatpants
6) Family
7) Sleep
8) Cesar
9) Rootbeer
10) Jackets
Music has been important to me for as long as I can remember. It has helped me through all sorts of situations and emotions. I couldn't dare imagine my life with music. I can't go a day without listening to it.
Sleep, I believe, is completely underrated. A lack of it is the cause of many help problems amongst people. Not only does it keep me healthy, but is a temporary escape from certain, overwhelming situations. It's my coping mechanism.

Museums, College, and Me
Recently, my Graphic Design 2 class went on a field trip to the Kemper, Nelson Atkins, and KCAI.
My favorite part of the entire field trip was probably our visit to the individual studio.
They had a beautiful exhibit that featured Miles Neidinger that really inspired me. I absolutely love his work.
They also had three students renting out a room to work on all of their stop motion projects for their classes. I personally adore stop motion work and was fascinated by what they were doing, and I was very impressed.
There was also a room where this woman was a fashion designer who knitted, crocheted, designed and more. Her work was beautiful and I would even wear some of it.
My favorite shop was probably THE PRINT SHOP.
I LOOOOVED the print shop! It was so amazing to see how printing actually worked. I was even cooler to see that it turned out much better than than the digital printed version.
So yea! That was my trip. :3
